Give a signature room without wasting the canvas
A scanned signature often includes far more blank paper than ink. Enable margin trimming to find dark content, remove surrounding near-white or transparent space and fit the remaining mark into your chosen canvas. The starting 600×200 size is editable and is not an official form requirement.
Get a better result
Check the form’s exact width, height, format and byte allowance before exporting. The trim option removes outer margins only; it does not erase white pixels inside the signature or turn a paper scan into a transparent cutout. Inspect faint strokes so they are not lost by an overly aggressive threshold.
A quick workflow
- Select a signature image and enable Trim blank margins if needed.
- Adjust trim sensitivity, canvas dimensions and Fit; keep PNG for existing transparency.
- For a byte target choose JPG, enter the required KB and inspect every stroke after processing.
