Prepare dimensions for a photo workflow
The 413 × 531 preset approximates 35 × 45 mm at 300 pixels per inch. A second preset provides 600 × 600 pixels for a 2 × 2 inch layout at 300 PPI.
Get a better result
Physical dimensions depend on the print settings. This browser export does not set a guaranteed 300-DPI metadata tag. Check the issuing authority’s exact rules for size, head position, background and editing. Correct pixel dimensions do not certify passport eligibility.
A quick workflow
Choose an original image with enough detail for your destination.
Review the preset. Use Fit to retain the whole image or Fill to crop the edges.
Pick the file format and quality, process, then compare the result before downloading.
Choose a supported still image, review the preset and select Fit or Fill. Adjust quality or the optional target size, then process and download the result. This page starts with a 413 × 531 canvas.
Will my photos be uploaded?
No. The editor decodes and processes your image in your browser. Files are not sent to a processing server. Your hosting provider may log normal page requests; image contents are not part of those requests.
Does this guarantee passport approval?
No. This tool sets a pixel canvas. It does not verify official document-photo rules or set a guaranteed print-density metadata tag. Check the issuing authority’s current requirements.
Can I process multiple images?
Yes. Add up to 12 still images, with a 20 MB per-file and 80 MB batch input limit. The same output canvas applies to the batch. Download individual results or a ZIP. For differently shaped originals, use Fit to retain every edge.
